This coffee is perfect for home brewing and experimentation. It works well with automatic machines, pour-over, filter methods, and especially shines as espresso—even with milk. You really can’t go wrong with this one.
Origin:
This lot comes from COMSA (Café Orgánico Marcala S.A.), a cooperative formed 20 years ago by 69 farmers in the Marcala region. Located in the Montecillos mountain range at altitudes between 1,200-1,700 meters, this area has excellent potential for specialty coffee production, with several Cup of Excellence winners.
The cooperative focuses on strict organic production practices, emphasizing ecological balance and soil recovery. The farmers promote biodiversity on their plantations using shade trees, particularly Inga, along with Citrus and Musa (banana) trees.
The coffee is hand-picked when ripe and processed using traditional methods, with careful fermentation and drying to develop its balanced, approachable character.
Varietal: Catuai, Caturra
Processing: Honey
All our coffees are light roasted in such a way as to preserve the taste that the terroir and growing conditions bring to the fruit in order to showcase all its qualities.
We recommend you grind the coffee fresh every time you brew it, but if you want us to grind it for you, leave us a message on the check-out page with the desired coarseness.
