Log Files
During every access on our websites, usage data are transferred by the particular web browser and are saved in server log files. These data sets include the following data:

These log file data sets are anonymised analysed to improve the offering and the usability, to find and to solve errors and to manage the utilisation of servers.

As basically every website operator, we us analysing tools in form of tracking software to detect the user frequency and the number of users on our website.

We want to point out that on this website, Google Analytics is extended with the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to provide anonymised collecting of IP addresses (i.e. IP masking).
We operate the web analysis on our website with the privacy option “Extended Data Protection Format". That means, that no full IP addresses are processed and only saved as in shortened version. For the anonymising of the IP addresses, they are shortened by the last 8 bit.
Usage-Oriented Advertisement
The advertisement displayed on this website is optimised to your usage behaviour to show you advertisements based on your interests. For this purpose, a cookie is saved on your device. Newsletter
The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the server when opening the newsletter from our server, or if we use a shipping service provider. This call will initially collect technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval.
This information is used to improve the technical performance of services based on their specifications or audience and their reading habits, based on their locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. Statistical surveys also include determining if the newsletters will be opened, when they will be opened and which links will be clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients.
