Huila is one of Colombia’s most celebrated coffee regions, holding its own designation of origin. The soils, enriched over centuries by the Nevado de Huila volcano chain, combined with high altitudes, create outstanding conditions for quality coffee.
This lot, Primavera Friends of Huila, comes from a community of smallholder producers who hand-pick ripe cherries and process them with the washed method. After careful fermentation, the beans are washed with clean water and then slowly dried to preserve their clarity and sweetness.
