Roasted on at 20grams coffee
Colombia, Huila, Narino Galeras
Taste profile: tropical ripe fruits, chocolate, mild to low acidity.
These Colombian beans from Nariño offer bright tropical fruit notes with delicate floral aromas. If you enjoy clean, vibrant coffees with mild, pleasant acidity, this is a great choice.
This coffee works well for home brewing, be it automatic machines, pour-over and filter methods and generally it will produce good results regardless of your brewing style or technique.
This lot comes from smallholder farmers on the slopes of Galeras volcano in Nariño. The high altitude of 1,800-2,000 meters and volcanic soil create good conditions for quality coffee.
The farmers hand-pick ripe cherries and process them using washed methods. After depulping, the beans ferment for 12-24 hours, then are washed with clean water and dried on raised beds for about two weeks.
Varietal: Caturra, Castillo
Procesing: Washed
All our coffees are light roasted in such a way as to preserve the taste that the terroir and growing conditions bring to the fruit in order to showcase all its qualities.
We recommend you grind the coffee fresh every time you brew it, but if you want us to grind it for you, leave us a message on the check-out page with the desired coarseness.
