Fazenda Bota Fora is a family business with over 100 de ani coffee producing experience. Ever since Francisco Teóphilo Reis Neto bought the land and the fazenda in 1900, the business has been passed from generation to generation. 

Maria de Fátima Silva Marques da Fonseca is the current owner and manager of the farm. With extensive expertise, the farm employs five dedicated workers for two decades.

After drying, farm members send the coffee to COCARIVE warehouses, which handle grading, marketing and export. COCARIVE facilities in Carmo de Minas include a quality laboratory. During drying, their team selects the batches for specialty microlots, ensuring top quality. All COCARIVE member farms have the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certificate, endorsed by the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA), which guarantees legal and environmentally friendly practices at all stages of the coffee production process.

All our coffees are light roasted in such a way as to preserve the taste that the terroir and growing conditions bring to the fruit in order to showcase all its qualities.
