Taste profile: apricot, black tea, jasmine, bright citric acidity, clean herbal finish.

This washed coffee from the Kafa Zone, Southern Nations, Ethiopia, is a balanced and vibrant cup that highlights floral aromatics and stone fruit sweetness. Expect notes of juicy apricot, delicate jasmine, and black tea, carried by a light to medium, tea-like body and lifted by a bright citric acidity. The finish is clean, refined, and slightly herbal, offering a classic washed Ethiopian experience.

This coffee shines in pour-over and filter methods, where its clarity and floral complexity are best revealed, but it will also produce delicious results in other home brewing setups, including automatic machines.

The Kafa Zone, often regarded as the birthplace of Arabica coffee, sits at altitudes of 1,950–2,000 meters. Its rich biodiversity and traditional farming practices make it one of the most unique coffee-growing regions in the world.

This lot, Kafa G2, was sourced through Project Origin, a green coffee initiative that connects artisan producers to roasters worldwide—including here in Romania. By working directly with smallholder farmers, the project ensures both quality and sustainability in every cup.
