These beans have a milky chocolate taste profile, with melon and floral hints. Your espresso will be creamy and rich, while the alternative brews, such as Aeropress or V60 will be very palatable. Use 90 degrees water for a good extraction and you will be able to taste that melon.

About the origin

Sol y Café was founded in 2005 and grew from their initial 27 clusters of producer base groups to more than 60 producer associations bringing together some 1,000 farmer families. 

Producers requesting membership into the coop need the visto bueno of existing members within that particular community. The board of directors is responsible for ensuring that all candidates are able to become quality contributors and are dedicated to producing high-quality, organic coffee.

Classic Sol y Café cupping notes include: jasmine floral fragrances, sweet tropical fruit, honey vanilla and caramel flavours, balanced with crisp acidity and a creamy, full body.
